【誤検出ってホント？】DVD Catalyst Freeにウイルス混入は誤り？

DVDを手軽にiPhoneにコピーできるとして有名な「DVD Catalyst Free」ですが、オフィシャルサイトらしい「http://www.a3vs.com」で配布している最新版の1.5.1は「Win32/Induc.A」というウイルスが混入しているので注意しましょう。

………という記事を19日に書いたのですが、開発元のサポートにメールを送ったところ、これは誤検出だという回答が届きました。

いくつかのウイルススキャナーで警告が表示されることは確認しており、DVD Catalystで使用しているコードが、Win32/Induc.Aのそれとよく似ていることが原因だとか。さっそくこれに対応したバージョン1.6が20日に公表され、リリースも公表されています。

複数のセキュリティソフトで警告が出ていたので信じてしまいましたが、私も開発元に確認してから記事にするべきでした。お騒がせしました。反省。

………という記事を21日に書いたのですが、窓の杜とか、ソフトウェアベンダーから次々にWin32/Inducに関する記事が出てくるにつれ、DVD Catalystの開発元にだまされた気がしてきました（笑）。まあ真相はともかく、DVD Catalyst Freeは常用しているわけじゃないので、これ以上突っ込むのは止めておきます。
なんだか、とても読みにくい記事なってすみません………。

なお、このウイルスはDelphiをターゲットにしたウイルスです。
